Dr Pandit has made outstanding contributions to an extremely wide variety of problems in condensed matter physics, such as scaling laws for hysterisis loops, glass formation in soft condensed matter system such as polymers, and a sustained study of the crossover from inertial to dissipation range multiscaling in fluid and MHD turbulence.
